Dr. Kar-Ming Cheung is a Principal Engineer and Technical Group Supervisor in the Communication Architectures and Research Section (332) at Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). His group supports design and specification of future deep-space and near-Earth communication systems and architectures. He got his B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1984, his M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree from California Institute of Technology in 1985 and 1987 respectively.
